Head Chef

An American from Los Angeles that is now living in beautiful Northern Queensland Australia and am opening a Fast Casual Mexican Cantina, two locations in Townsville in the next 12 months are scheduled to open. I am looking to open several in the next year, I am looking for a cook and someone who has worked in the fast-casual or restaurant industry for at least 5 years and knows Mexican Cuisine. I am from Los Angeles so I know good Mexican Food. Its a job in Paradise our first purpose built location is one block from the beach. We are also offering shares as we would like someone to grow with us as we establish this brand to 4-5 locations throughout Queensland in the next 4-5 years. We are looking for a two year commitment, all moving expenses are covered, full medical, two week paid vacation and a salary at 50k - 65k depending on experience.

Food Ordering, Food Preparation (Cold Hot Sauces, Meat, Vegetables,) Ordering, Stock Taking.

In charge of a staff of 10+ (hiring, hours, scheduling etc), Must must be able to read/write/speak English. Must be able to create authentic recipes for original dishes.

Minimum 5 years experience. Must have references. Must be available days/evenings/weekends.
